We are so lazy...or maybe we are only on vacation! we got up at 8.30 and gathered round Chali^s fire to read and do some work (Klaus). Then we went to The Monterey Institute to buy some Alumni sweaters; unfortnately it was closed. The young people decided to go to the climbing-hall in Seaside and the beautiful people (Valeska and Selma) went shopping to Macy^s...what else!
In the afternoon Klaus and Selma went for a walk in beautiful Carmel and afterward they visited the Carmel Mission, the headquarters of father Junipero Sierra back in colonial times.
To celebrate our reunion with the Van Vliet family we went to El Torito Mexican restaurant. We cheered with some delicious Margueritas and enjyoyed some tasty enchiladas. while watching the pelicans and the seagulls crossing the sky over the blue waters of the Pacific. Afterwards, Jasmin, Erik, Markus and Ricardo went to watch some seals and then we all walked around Cannery Row having fun and enjoying each other¨s company.
